SCT has been short-listed as one of the three finalists in the Bond Pearce Innovation Award category of the Hampshire Business Awards 2006.
The innovative Vehicle Booking System (Simplified VBS) was nominated as it met the judging criteria of being a successful working practice resulting from the innovative use of technology or business systems with demonstrated commercial success.Following the initial submission, a site visit took place by two representatives from Bond Pearce for a more in-depth discussion on the success of the system.
The other two finalists are Hippowaste, who are a national provider of innovative and integrated waste management solutions, and Tacktick Ltd who develop innovative wireless solar powered instruments specifically for the marine market.
The winner will be announced on Thursday 14 September 2006.
