Welcome aboard to John Maybanks as SCT’s Head of Engineering. John joins SCT from DP World’s Dubai operations where he worked as Senior Manager, Technical. With 30 years experience in the maritime sector, initially at sea with Texaco and P&O and subsequently in the port sector for the last 21 years, John will take over a critical position within the SCT management team.
Talking about his new role at SCT, John said:
“I am very excited to join the team here at SCT and very much look forward to working with everyone. There are exciting times ahead and I’m pleased to be a part of that.”
John takes over the role from Cameron Waugh who has accepted the position of General Manager, World Crane Services and will relocate to Dubai during September.
