BIFA Awards Finalists Announced

Over 20 companies have been named as finalists for this year’s freight Service Awards organised by the British International Freight Association (BIFA).

For the second consecutive year, Southampton Container Terminals (SCT) is sponsoring the Deep Sea Award category and was involved in the short listing of the finalists. The finalists for the Deep Sea Award category are the following companies:

Chaucer Freight Limited
Ideal Forwarding Ltd
Uniserve Group

Talking about his involvement in the judging, Campbell Mason, Managing Director, SCT, said:

“The entries into the Deep Sea Award category were of a particularly high standard which made my job as part of the judging panel all the harder!  I would like to congratulate all of the finalists on getting to this stage and look forward to meeting them  at the awards ceremony.”

The award winners will be announced at the BIFA Annual Lunch and Awards Ceremony to be held at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London on Thursday 17 January 2008.  Special guest, broadcaster and former MP for Chester, Mr Gyles Brandreth, will host the event and more than 450 BIFA members and their guests are expected to attend.
