Ian running the 2006 marathon.Ian Fisher, Ship Planner at SCT is in training for his second consecutive London Marathon on 22 April 2007 and hopes to raise much needed funds for the charity “Children with Leukaemia”.

Ian took part and completed the 2006 London Marathon in an impressive 3 hours and 55 minutes and managed to raise £1270 for “Children with Leukaemia”

Talking in his own words about the 26 mile run ahead of him, Ian said:

"Running is mainly a hobby based on keeping reasonably fit and active as the years tick by!   Completing the 2006 London Marathon certainly gave me a big thrill and great sense of achievement.  To my amazement I managed to secure a place for the 2007 London Marathon and have to admit that I think this will be the last one for me, as the training really is hard work.“
