Security Supervisor, Steve Wright ('D' Shift) recently received the 'Outstanding Award' (South East Region) from the British Security Industry Association (BSIA). He is seen in the photograph receiving his award from HRH Prince Michael of Kent.
On 16 July 2005, Steve rendered first-aid at the scene after a major incident involving an overturned straddle carrier. Assisted by John Chase (Security Officer), Steve was instrumental in stabilising the condition of the driver, until the arrival of the Emergency Services; he then remained on the scene to assist with the control and safety of the emergency vehicles and personnel.
Steve’s actions, last July, demonstrated fully the high level of service that the Security personnel provide, especially with regard to immediate response and first aid at incidents.
