Congratulations to all the winners of the BIFA Freight Service Awards.  In a ceremony held on Thursday 17 January 2008 and attended by over 450 BIFA members and their guests, the winners were announced.

The event was hosted by special guest, broadcaster and former MP for Chester, Mr Gyles Brandreth, with each of the sponsors personally congratulating the winners of each award.

For the second consecutive year, Southampton Container Terminals (SCT) sponsored the Deep Sea Award which this year was won by Uniserve.  Other finalists in the category included Chaucer Freight Limited and Ideal Forwarding Ltd.

Talking after the ceremony, Campbell Mason, Managing Director, SCT, said:
